In this first edition of Neighborhood Spotlight we are going to take a closer look at a place that many Snohomish County residents love and call home, Silver Lake. Lending to its name sake, Silver Lake's neighborhood namesake stems from the 35.3 acre freshwater lake that adorns the area.

Being the focal point of the neighborhood, Silver Lake features: Camp Patterson picnic shelter, the Silver Hall Meeting Room rental, and the Silver Lake Beach picnic shelter. In addition, there is a playground, trails and viewpoints along with a beach area that's "open and staffed with life guards from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. daily between mid-June through Labor Day". [SOURCE]

Where is Silver Lake?

Silver Lake is located in Everett's eastside, just off the I-5 Everett Mall Way exits, and is more central to Everett than it may seem. Silver lake is only 5.4 miles from the Boeing manufacturing plant, 9 miles from Naval Station Everett, and approximately 24 miles from downtown Seattle.

The neighborhood's physical borders are as follows:

  • North - 100th Place SE
  • East - Lowell-Larimer Road
  • South - 132ND Street SE
  • West - Interstate 5

Why are Silver Lake Homes Desirable?
