Yesterday, I had it all planned out, or so I thought, to see the USS Abraham Lincoln sail into port. The day started off right and the weather cooperating. The Sun was shining across the calm waters of the Puget Sound and highlighting the Olympic Mountain’s snow capped peaks. At around 10:30 am I expected to see the Lincoln round Possession Point and then take some really good pictures from Harbour Pointe in Mukilteo. Plan foiled! The carrier sailed into the Sound in the early hours of the 24th then made the final journey into port in the daylight. After a bit I decided to head into work when I captured another carrier steaming north up the westside of Whidbey Island though I don’t know her name. Can you help me?
Help! Name this Aircraft Carrier!
