Everett also has views of Washington’s two mountain ranges, Cascade Mountain Range and Olympic Mountains and from certain locations within the city sunrises and sunrises can be seen. In addition to the scenic views, Everett is in excellent proximity to the County’s Ferry system, other major cities, employers and recreational activities.

Everett’s City History
Everett has a deep and long history dating back many years with some of the first settlers being the Snohomish Indian Tribe. But in 1890, three people came together to form the Everett Land Company proceed with city development, Charles Colby, Colgate Hoyt and Henry Hewitt (Everett’s main Streets honor their names). Industry and labor were the foundations and have been the driving force and cultural heritage of the city.
