Everett’s Central Neighorbood is located on the south side of the North End. Its borders are Glennwood and the Puget Sound in the west, 41st in the North, Lowell-Larimer Rd in the east and SR 526 in the south.
Situated on the eastside of the Central Neighborhood, Forest Park is one of the most prominent features. It is a 197 acre wooded park and has a recreation office, swim center, playgrounds, picnic shelters, wooded trails and an animal farm. It is a great place to spend a summer afternoon with the family or as a school field trip.
The zoning throughout the Central Neighborhood varies from commercial, mixed use, multi-family and residential. Down the major arterials, Evergreen and Colby, there are many different types of business and some of the most prominent are the auto dealerships.
