With October in full swing, the cooler nights and the leaves of fall showing their colors one of my favorite past time approaches, Halloween. Even now it seems that I am older there is still something about Halloween that brings the kid out. With pumpkin carving, parties, handing out candy and the lively (if that is the appropriate word) people that can be found out an about.
If you have been thinking about going getting pumpkins with your children there are many farms through out Snohomish County that offer more than just pumpkins. There are haunted corn mazes, storytime, snacks and some even offer coupons to events.

Good to see some people still treating Halloween as a harmless bit of fun. In the UK, sadly, the Christian PC brigade are starting to get their talons into it. Every year, some bishop tries to make name for himself in the newspapers by condemning it.
I’m a believer myself but this attitude just makes me embarrassed to be one. So good for you guys in the land of the free: go for it.

I have heard of that in the UK, I don’t get either. It happens a little bit here but mostly it is used as marketing item to attract business during October. I enjoy Halloween because it is an excuse together with friends and dress up like some crazy Ninja
