Happy Independence Day July 4, 2008

FireworksThis post is a day late but it was a planned late. No joking. Yesterday was the day in which all the citizens of the United States celebrate the Declaration of Independence. Independence is something really cherished here and gives us the freedom to celebrate with fireworks and remembrance.

Celebrations have been held all over the country, by the President, the Navy and even MLB. My observance of this special day was spent watching a good friend solidify his love with family and friends.

Fireworks

It was a gorgeous day in Sultan, a few miles east of Monroe and the fireworks display was one of the best I have ever seen. Spending time with friends is one of the best things to do on a holiday especially when the food is good and the drinks are cold.

Looks like you had good fireworks. A lot of cities didn’t have them this year.

Yea it was pretty cool. My room mate picked up a lot from a website back in January so the big China quake didn’t effect us.
