Improve Your Home’s Curb Appeal

Curb appeal is the perceived value placed upon a home by the person viewing it with the intention of purchasing a home in the near future. It is highly associated with the degree in which a home has been maintained, to determine the home’s quality and condition, as viewed from the curb or sidewalk.

This should be in the for front of every seller’s mind with real estate market conditions in a state of upheaval. There are many homes on the market and competition is really stiff between new construction and resales which are all competing for a small pool buyer attention.

How to Improve Curb Appeal Fast

1. Landscape the front yard: By simply mowing the yard and cleaning up the edging around the flower beds can make a huge different.
2. Clean up excesses: Remove cars, debris, wood, boats etc from the driveway and rv parking space.
3. Pressure washing: Either hire a pressure washing team or rent a pressure washer and spray down the roof, windows, siding, driveway and sidewalk to restore fresh finish.

But why go through all the work?

By doing these three items your home has a better chance of selling, in a market place saturated by listings and foreclosures, for more money and in a shorter period of time. Your home will be making an excellent 1st Impression making it more appealing when compared to a home which is still needing some exterior detail cleanup.
