It’s Alive – It’s Alive….

Tonight is exciting. A few moments ago the new website went live.

Website Changes and Upgrades

Listings and Listing Pages

In BARE.1.0 real estate listings where built into the blog section of the website. The result made the blog bi polar with informational posts intermixed with client listings. Now that has changed. Real estate listing are created on their own individual page along with higher detailed market content. This is new for localized real estate websites. A combination of Wordpress plugins download data from known sources.

Blog

No longer bi polar. The blog will be publishing only relevant market data. The move will allow users to to find a deeper analysis of real time market statistics (though some data will be delivered on a quarterly basis). Look for some pretty charts in the new year.

Look and Layout

In the previous version, the website utilized smoooth lines and easy navigation. The new version takes a similar approach. The overall functionality remains the same … ie … Navigation. With that said, specific content areas have been highlighted – widget ready areas at the top and bottom of the website.

What is to Come?

Fixing the Comments and the 404 errors are the next items to tackle but that is not to say the new site is free of bugs. If you see something not working correctly send an email to toby@barnettassociates.net directly and I will fix it. Hope you enjoy and talk with you soon.
