During the construction of the interstate, Twin Lakes Park was used as mines to supply the much needed gravel. After the interstate was complete they holes needed to be filled and what better use then to create two side-by-side lakes for swimming and fishing. Twin Lakes Park has evolved into a favorite summer time hangout for family from all across Snohomish County so if a break is in your agenda take some time and visit the park.
