Smokey Point New Construction

In Marysville’s northern neighborhood of Smokey Point there are 70 air spaced condos currently under construction, near the Commissary and west of Shoultes Rd. Deerfield at the Meadows is the first phase of a master plan being built by Regent Homes. Deerfield at the Meadows is unique from the many neighborhoods that can be found in Marysville. Instead of the traditional single family residents the 70 homes in Phase 1 are “air space” condominiums.

“Air space” condominiums (air condos) are condominiums that look like traditional subdivisions but are created under the condominium act, Harmon Associates, Inc

Regent Homes decided to build “air space” condos to offer busy professionals “low maintenance living” through the benefits of being a condominium and not a single family residence.

But you may be wondering: what does “low maintenance” mean? It means that there are monthly homeowner dues associated with living at the Meadows, $47 to be exact which covers the landscaping in the front of the condominium, the streets and neighborhood parks (the retention ponds are maintained by the city).

Regent Homes is offering 7 floor different floor plans in a 3 bedroom design that vary on the interior layout. If you are family looking for a excellent starter these would appeal through the 3 bedroom with living and family room combination or if you are young and single you may find the 3 bedroom with media room option more suitable.

In addition to Regent Homes building Deerfield in the Meadows, the companies of Bonterra Homes is constructing Hawkstone at the Meadows. Even though it is a different builder, within the same neighborhood, the homes are still the “air space” condominiums and will be managed by the same homeowners association.

Built Green is an environmental building program of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, Built Green

These condominiums are “built green”. What is “built green”? Built Green is building and constructing a home with minimal environmental impact through sustainable building practices. So if you are worried about your environmental footprint then you may find Hawkstone very appealing. Especially since the condominium designs have plans with 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms and nearly 2k sq/ft.

With all this said you can be assured that the greater Meadows neighborhood in Smokey Point is going to be a excellent addition to Marysville. The “air space” condominiums gives north Marysville a unique feel and being near schools they offer so their owners so much.

If you are interested in seeing a condominium is in one of these two neighborhoods than contact one of Barnett Associates Real Estate, LLC REALTORS® and schedule an appointment. It is always a good idea to have your own representation when viewing new constructing that way you know your REALTOR® is looking after your best interests, not the builders agent.
