Snohomish County Lot Sales 3rd Quarter 2007

Snohomish County’s 3rd Quarter 2007 lot sales have decreased 76% from the 2nd Quarter of 2007 and 84% since the 1st Quarters of 2007. This drop is a direct result of the current real estate atmosphere and builder fear that they will not be able to sell current inventory. Even though I believe the media contributes to a lot to housing woes it can not be ignored that there is to much inventory discouraging builders.

Marysville had the highest number of lot sales with 45, Arlington was second with 32 and Lake Stevens was third with 31 and combined these three cities comprised 75% of Snohomish County’s total lot sales.

Hey John, I have not personally seen any figues but have only heard through the grapevine regarding the new construction supply, nothing on the supply of lots. I’ll see if I can’t digg some though.

Jon, all I could digg up was that builder’s have anywhere from a 2 1/2 – 4 1/2 supply of new construction but nothing regarding the supply of lots.
