Being separated from the main Seattle real estate hub, Stanwood has retained its history of small town and community while building and adding services for its future. In a project called Design Stanwood, the City is putting together a team of Camano Island citizens to plan and revitalize Downtown. What revitalization means to Stanwood? A new library, community center, city hall and building a core for downtown business.
