Marysville’s History

The city of Marysville started out as a logging town during the late 1800’s but got its heritage from the strawberry cultivators who called Marysville home. During the Roaring Twenties, Marysville was dubbed the “Strawberry City” and ever since we have celebrated our berry town with our annual Strawberry Festival.
