Naval Station Everett General Information
Naval Station Everett (NVSTA) is located approximately 25 miles North of Seattle and on the Southern tip of the Everett Marina. NVSTA is home to the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), a Nimitz Class aircraft carrier, two destroyers, three frigates and two Coast Guard Cutters. NVSTA is also one of the Navy’s most modern facilities and supports approximately 6,000 troops. To assist the Navy personal and their families there is a the Naval Station Recreational Area located in the Smokey Point Neighborhood in north Marysville which includes the Defense Commissary Agency.

The USS Rodney M Davis (FFG60), a frigate, on its return home to Everett from the South Pacific (contrary to what the Herald had said, stating they were in the South Atlantic), conducting drug patrols around Central and South America.
